ITINERARY

1. Guest Pickup:
   Pickup at 8:45 AM from the Downtown Anchorage Visitors Center.
2. Turnagain Arm Scenic Drive:
   Your adventure begins with a scenic drive along Turnagain Arm. Enjoy the snow-covered peaks and the opportunity to spot wildlife along the way.
3. Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC):
   Visit this 200-acre wildlife sanctuary to see Alaska’s iconic species like bears, moose, bison, and more, all thriving in their natural winter habitat.
4. Alyeska Resort & Tram Ride:
   Enjoy lunch at Alyeska Resort and take the Alyeska Tram to 2,300 feet. Revel in the breathtaking views of glaciers, snow-covered mountains, and Turnagain Arm. Spend approximately one hour at the tram’s summit.
5. Return to Anchorage:
   (Don’t forget to book your return back to Anchorage)
   Relax and reflect on your adventure during the return trip to Anchorage, with an expected arrival around the time that you choose because you booked the Girdwood Express.

Meeting Location:

• Address: Downtown Anchorage Visitors Center, 546 W 4th Ave, Anchorage, AK
• Where to Park: Park at the garage between “A” and “C” Street, across from the Downtown Avis. This is ideal because you can pay at the toll gate and avoid a ticket if we are delayed on the return.
• If Your Driver is Late: Please text us if your driver hasn’t arrived by the scheduled time. Calling may cause unnecessary delays.
• Restroom Info: Restrooms are unavailable for about an hour after departure, so use the facilities beforehand.

Tour Photos:

• Your guide will offer to take your photo and help you capture the highlights of the tour, including landscapes, wildlife, and group shots.

Important Information:

• Weather: Winter weather in Alaska can change quickly. Please dress in layers, bring a waterproof jacket, and wear sturdy shoes for walking.
• Wildlife Sightings: Wildlife sightings at AWCC are guaranteed, but sightings along Turnagain Arm or from the Alyeska Tram are not guaranteed.
• Minimum Age: Suitable for all ages, but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Accessibility: The tour is suitable for most guests, with minimal walking. Let us know in advance if you have special requirements.

Cancellation Policy:

• Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour date.
• Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour date are non-refundable.
• No-shows will not receive a refund.

• Sunscreen (the snow can reflect intense sunlight)
• Camera for capturing incredible scenery and wildlife
• Money for meals, souvenirs, or optional rentals

Restrictions:

• Pregnant Women: This tour is generally suitable for most pregnant women, but please consult with your doctor if you have concerns about the physical activity involved.
• Mobility: The tour is suitable for most guests, but participants should be able to board and exit the vehicle with minimal assistance. This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
