Alaska's Finest Tours and Adventures is seeking a Sales Associate / Sales Office Coordinator to join our growing team in Anchorage.

This position works directly with Dispatch and the Owner, playing a critical role in both guest services and daily operational flow. The Sales Associate works from the sales office as well as the downstairs sales area and serves as a key point of contact for guests, drivers, and internal teams—ensuring smooth check-ins, on-time departures, and an exceptional guest experience.

Part of this role includes helping ensure drivers depart on schedule. If guests have not checked in at least 10 minutes prior to departure, you will contact them to confirm they are on their way. The position also includes answering sales calls, returning customer inquiries, and making reservations.

This role blends front-line guest interaction, commission-driven sales, and operational coordination, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused tourism environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work side-by-side with Dispatch and the Owner
  • Check in guests for tours and transportation services
  • Process reservations and assist with same-day and walk-in sales
  • Sell company tours and transportation products with commission opportunities
  • Redirect affiliate product sales to the downstairs sales office when appropriate
  • Expedite drivers and guests to ensure smooth loading and unloading of vans
  • Coordinate arrivals and departures to maintain on-time schedules
  • Contact guests who have not checked in at least 10 minutes prior to departure
  • Communicate with drivers if delays occur and coordinate late arrivals when necessary
  • Communicate clearly with Dispatch and Operations to support daily logistics
  • Provide a high level of customer service and represent the company brand
  • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Comfortable working closely with operations and transportation teams
  • Sales experience or interest in commission-based sales is a plus
  • Reliable, organized, and able to take direction while working independently
  • Tourism, hospitality, or transportation experience preferred but not required

Position Details:

Location: Anchorage, AK

Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (seasonal and year-round opportunities available)

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Compensation: Hourly pay plus commission on company product sales
